Temporary Position Shift: Drive a rotation of 12-hour shifts (this site operates 7 days/week and shifts may change based on operational needs) Pay: $28.00 per hour Home nightly Local Routes Work Location: 4137 Industrial Park Road, Point Tupper, NS B9A 1Z4

Requirements

Valid Class 1 Driver's License
Willing to load trucks (with coal) using a payloader – training provided if required
18 years of age or older
Minimum of 1-year experience operating tractor/trailer combination
The ability to work from written and verbal instructions
The ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
The ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others
The ability to work overtime as required
The ability to read, write, and understand English
Successful candidates must be willing to work any shift, including weekends (no overnight work)

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport and deliver coal to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements
