3rd Shift Clamp Truck Driver
About The Position
This position is for a 3rd Shift Clamp Truck Operator responsible for unloading and managing roll stock inventory. The role involves inspecting materials for damage, proper labeling, and organizing inventory according to FIFO principles. The operator will also be responsible for bringing materials to the machine, servicing the butt roll discharge area, and reporting any mechanical issues. Safety procedures and equipment inspection are critical aspects of this role, as is maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse environment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs during shift.
Responsibilities
- Unloading of roll stock
- Inspecting roll stock for damage
- Labeling each roll with International Paper tag
- Setting apart damaged roll stock and communicating damage to shift supervisor
- Ensuring bill of lading is signed
- Placing roll stock into raw stock inventory
- Keeping paper rotated on a FIFO basis
- Organizing rolls by grade & width
- Organizing rolls with smaller butts first
- Checking schedule for current & next orders to run on machine
- Bringing paper to machine at correct station & putting in correct position
- Servicing butt roll discharge area
- Reporting any mechanical problems to shift supervisor
- Following safety procedures for safe operation of work equipment
- Keeping warehouse neat & orderly
- Inspecting equipment before using including locking in dock lock & ensuring tandems are in correct position
- Wearing all necessary PPE
Benefits
- Sign on Bonus: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months
