About The Position

This is a full-time role for a Clamp Forklift Operator responsible for operating clamp-style sit-down propane forklifts to move clamp-sensitive product safely through inbound, put-away, picking, and loading processes. The role directly impacts on-time shipments and damage reduction while supporting warehouse operations onsite during assigned shifts (1st or 2nd shift).

Requirements

• Verifiable, recent clamp truck experience (standard fork experience alone does not qualify)
• Demonstrated track record of damage-free handling of clamp-sensitive product
• Proficiency operating sit-down propane clamp forklifts
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to pass a written equipment assessment before start
• Ability to pass a hands-on clamp certification with the site trainer on the first onsite day
• Compliance with site requirements: orange reflective safety vest, enclosed-toe shoes, and badge/key fob access

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane clamp forklift for inbound, put-away, picking, and loading
• Move floor-stacked product to staging and maximize container space when loading
• Set clamp pressure appropriately for each product type to avoid crushing or dropping loads
• Use the WMS to scan and confirm pallet and location moves
• Secure loads for transport
• Complete daily pre-use equipment inspections
• Report equipment defects
• Follow site access and safety procedures
