As a Claims Support Representative, Bodily Injury you will work in collaboration with claims representatives and other key stakeholders to provide high level investigation support through internal and external systems on bodily injury claims and claimant background information while documenting findings according to our best practices.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry or related field.
  • Experience using social media and other online resources to research and source information.
  • A post-secondary education.
  • Willingness to work towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in desktop investigations is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of bodily injury claims process is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing internal claims systems and external tools to complete advanced desk bound investigation of files referred from Bodily Injury team members.
  • Searching social media, online sources, public information searches as required.
  • Collaborating with claims staff and other internal and external departments through the investigation process.
