About The Position

Novacore is seeking a high-performing college student interested in beginning a career in insurance claims to participate in its 2027 Summer Internship Program. The paid internship runs from May 17 through August 5 and offers mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events. It is hybrid, with three days onsite at the Conshohocken, Pennsylvania home office and two days working from home. The intern supports claims team members, communicates with agents and third-party administrators (TPAs), reviews submissions, assists with claim-related requests and inquiries, and helps complete claim file reviews for accounts approaching renewal. The role also involves following up on open items, requesting information, attending team meetings, and carrying out other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must be a current college student; sophomore and junior students are preferred.

Responsibilities

Fully assist team members as needed.
Interact with agents and TPAs by phone and email to provide superior customer service.
Review submissions for completeness and accuracy, and request information when needed.
Assist with claim inquiries, policy and endorsement requests, and other general claim inquiries.
Partner with the manager to complete claim file reviews for open claims on accounts up for renewal.
Follow up on open items and request additional information to finalize tasks.
Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
