About The Position

Imagine360 is seeking a Claims Support Clerk to join the team! This position is responsible for providing data entry of claims into the processing system in a timely and efficient manner. This position also actively collaborates with other team members in service and quality assurance initiatives to assist the department in fully contributing to the success of the department. This position maintains a comprehensive understanding of the plan document under their scope of responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient 10-key and typing, and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, organizational skills, problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to do repetitive work, while maintaining production requirements, speed, and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in processing health insurance claims
  • Medical billing and coding experience
  • Working knowledge and of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a remote setting free from distractions

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for entering claims information, both manually and into a template, in the processing system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Participates in special projects as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Ensures priority registration and special handling of Transplant claims
  • Acts as a role model in demonstrating the core values in customer service delivery.
  • Provides timely and thorough follow up with, internal and external customers.
  • Appropriately escalates difficult issues up the chain of command.
  • Trains new employees as assigned.
  • Recognizes and alerts appropriate supervisor of trends within their scope of responsibility that fall outside of quality parameters.
  • Performs self-quality monitoring to develop and execute plans to meet established goals.
  • Provides ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance.
  • Collaborates with others and cross-departmentally to improve or streamline procedures.
  • Develops new or improves current internal processes to improve quality
