About The Position

Charles Taylor is a highly successful global provider of professional services to the insurance industry. We are seeking enthusiastic Claims Service Representatives to join our team. This is an in office, non-exempt, full-time position based in the Louisville, KY office. Position Summary This position will be responsible for setting up new claims, issuing payments, provide support to adjusters and nurses. The right candidate will also provide customer service for client, providers and claimants. Certain duties may vary depending on the clients and states handled.

Requirements

Strong alpha/numeric data entry skills of 8,000 keystrokes with a 5% or below error rate
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
Ability to work independently and in a team environment under general management direction to complete all assignments
Good communication and telephone skills
Ability to prioritize multiple task
Prompt and regular attendance to pre-approved office schedule

Responsibilities

Process claims checks, including printing, matching Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to specific checks, and mailing per client instructions
Provide related reports and positive pay files for claims payments where required
Copy, scan and electronically image claim documents
Provide support to claims adjusters by mailing out letters and other documentation as directed
Deliver customer service to clients, providers & claimants by answering phone calls
Perform additional operational support tasks to assist with claims handling and workflow
