About The Position

We are seeking a Claims Representative with experience in insurance investigations and damage evaluation. You will be part of the Claims team responsible for ensuring professional and timely resolution of transport-related losses. You will be involved in investigating claims, determining responsibility, and negotiating settlements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in commercial auto transport and cargo handling to provide high-quality service to our dealers and clients. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in insurance claims processing.

Requirements

  • 1-2 Years of experience in insurance claims, specifically in commercial, auto transport, or cargo handling.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in total loss handling and damage adjudication.
  • Highly proficient in computer applications, including Google Workspace and web-based applications.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain a rigorous schedule.
  • Proven ability to access, enter, and retrieve data accurately on a PC.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive transport industry.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced remarketing or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and process insurance claims in a timely fashion for dealers and clients.
  • Gather all pertinent information, including photos, estimates, and other relevant criteria.
  • Interview claimants and transporters to gather comprehensive information related to the claim.
  • Handle transport damage claims as well as property claims related to auto transports.
  • Schedule outside vendors for verification and estimates for pending claims.
  • Investigate and evaluate damages to conclude appropriate levels of compensation.
  • Adjudicate claims, manage adjustments, and assist with special projects as needed.
