In this role, you’ll investigate, evaluate, and resolve subrogation claims in an efficient and accurate manner. What You'll Do As a Claims Representative - Subrogation, you will : Support customers with empathy and understanding, assisting them through difficult situations and effectively communicating the claims process, the ongoing subrogation status, and decisions, including the reasoning behind them. Evaluate moderately complex claims involving motor vehicle accidents, workers compensation injuries, or damages to property to determine if subrogation exists and determine recovery opportunities and payments within assigned authority limit. Provide prompt subrogation investigation, evaluation, and communication to the claims departments and handle subrogation recovery efforts consistent with the evaluation of the parties’ responsibility by obtaining and analyzing all pertinent documentation, i.e., police reports, carrier discovery report, appraisals, scene photographs, and statements as necessary. Work with the claim representative to compile any additional missing information. Document all decisions, correspondence, reports, and discussions that occur during the evaluation and investigation of the file. File and respond to arbitration filings on applicable claims.
