Claims Consulting: Executes claim-related tasks using established procedures and guidance. Relies on defined escalation paths and confirm next steps before acting. Focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and learning how claims move through carriers and internal systems. Technical Knowledge: Builds foundational knowledge of role expectations, tools, and standards. Applies rules as taught and seeks confirmation when uncertainty arises. Develop confidence through repetition and exposure. Client Experience: Establishes rapport through professional, responsive interactions. Focus on clarity, follow-through, and meeting stated expectations. Build trust through reliability and consistency. Communication: Communicates information clearly and accurately with guidance. Focuses on information transfer, documentation, and confirmation of understanding. Listens attentively and accurately reflect key concepts back to the speaker.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, preferably in the insurance (or related) industry.
  • Hyper organized and gets a deep sense of satisfaction from structure and seeing tasks through to the very end.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills for carrier websites and generating reports/spreadsheets.
  • High-level understanding of core commercial lines of insurance.
  • Clear and effective writer and communicator.
  • Ability to excel under pressure and maintain composure.
  • Skilled at prioritizing competing interests and knowing when to ask for help.
  • Must have, or be willing to earn and maintain, a valid Property & Casualty insurance license within 3 months of hire.
