About The Position

The Claims Associates are responsible for evaluating, processing, and managing Loss prevention (LP) & insurance claims from initial submission through final resolution. This role involves investigating LP’s, claim details, confirming policy coverage, communicating with claimants, witnesses, and other stakeholders, and determining appropriate claim outcomes or payouts. Claims Associates balance strong customer service skills with accurate documentation, detailed file management, and timely administrative follow-through.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, along with 1–3 years of relevant claims, insurance, customer service, or administrative experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Able to work independently and be detail oriented
  • Communicate complex policy information effectively to claimants, client representatives, contract partners and stakeholders and support claim resolution and settlement discussions.
  • Analyze claims by assessing damages, liability, and potential fraud indicators to make sound recommendations.
  • Manage multiple claims efficiently by prioritizing workloads and meeting service standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and evaluate insurance claims by reviewing supporting documentation, interviewing claimants or relevant parties, and assessing damages, expenses, or other claim-related details.
  • Verify policy coverage by interpreting policy guidelines, identifying applicable limits, and determining potential liabilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files, including preparing loss runs, documenting claim activity, and logging correspondence in claims management systems.
  • Communicate with client representatives and contract partners to guide them through the claims process, provide updates, and address questions or concerns.
  • Coordinate with contract partners and other stakeholders to resolve claim-related issues efficiently and support timely claim resolution.
