About The Position
The Claims Analyst will support evaluation, analysis, documentation, and resolution of construction claims, changes, disputes, and entitlement issues on USACE projects. This position is on-site, with the specific location to be determined.
Requirements
- Experience with construction contracts, claims, change orders, or project controls.
- Understanding of construction schedules, costs, and contract documentation.
- Claims analysis, contract interpretation, schedule analysis, cost analysis, documentation, negotiation support, and technical writing.
Nice To Haves
- USACE experience preferred.
- Federal construction claims experience preferred.
- Scheduling or cost-estimating background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze contractor claims and requests for equitable adjustment.
- Review contract documents, schedules, correspondence, and cost records.
- Evaluate entitlement, causation, schedule impact, and damages.
- Prepare technical analyses and recommendations.
- Support negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Maintain claim documentation and tracking.
