Claim Operations Supervisor (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Claim Operations Supervisor to join our Claim Operations team, based in our Canton, MA or Denver, CO office, working on a hybrid schedule. This role is responsible for supervising the Claim operations department, setting and achieving departmental goals for workflow, customer service, and quality in alignment with corporate objectives. The supervisor will provide exceptional service by leading the implementation and performance of effective claim operation and clerical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years of related experience, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of claim operations staff, prioritizing and assigning work, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Oversees day-to- day operations of the teams’ activities including workload distribution of new claims, prioritization, reporting, and monitoring performance.
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of loss and expense payments adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and service level agreements.
- Review and approve complex or escalated issues, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments, to streamline processes, resolve customer inquiries, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any training or development needs of the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices related to claim processing, and ensure compliance within the department.
- Anticipates and meets all customer needs (internal and external).
- Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
