About The Position

We currently have an opportunity for a Claim Operations Supervisor to join our Claim Operations team based in our Canton, MA or Denver, CO office on a hybrid schedule. This position is responsible for the supervision of Claim operations department within the company. Accountable for setting and achieving the department goals/objectives relating to workflow, customer service, and quality to be in line with corporate goals/objectives. Provides exceptional service to internal and external customers, in leading implementation and performance of effective claim operation and clerical processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of related experience, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of claim operations staff, prioritizing and assigning work, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Oversees day- to- day operations of the teams’ activities including workload distribution of new claims, prioritization, reporting, and monitoring performance.
• Ensures timely and accurate processing of loss and expense payments adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and service level agreements.
• Review and approve complex or escalated issues, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments, to streamline processes, resolve customer inquiries, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any training or development needs of the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices related to claim processing, and ensure compliance within the department.
• Anticipates and meets all customer needs (internal and external).
• Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
