About The Position

Arbella Insurance Group is seeking a hardworking undergraduate student to support its Claim Team. This internship begins in January 2027 and is based onsite at the company’s headquarters in Quincy, Massachusetts. The schedule is at least 15 hours per week and can be adjusted around the intern’s class schedule. Additional hours are available. The internship lasts through the end of the semester, with a potential option to extend. A dedicated mentor will guide the intern. Full-time positions may be available after the internship, depending on business needs and performance. Under direct supervision, the intern processes loss and expense payments within their area of responsibility and granted settlement authority, enters data into claim and related database systems, requests investigative materials, prepares correspondence as directed, and provides administrative support to Claim Professionals.

Requirements

Open to students of all college majors.
Sound time-management skills and attention to detail.
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Process loss and expense payments within the assigned area and granted settlement authority for all lines of business.
Enter data into multiple claim and related database systems.
Request police reports and other investigative materials.
Request appropriate letters and correspondence as directed by the Claim Professional.
Provide administrative support to Claim Professionals, including printing, filing, and copying documents.
