About The Position

Exponent is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Manager for its Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Irvine, CA. This role involves leading analytical and problem-solving tasks, conducting experimental field investigations and diagnostic surveys, and developing and maintaining client relations. The position requires effective communication of technical conclusions to diverse audiences, including those in engineering, business, and industry. The role also includes preparing technical reports, conducting complex engineering assessments, and potentially providing expert testimony.

Requirements

M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Ability to obtain Licensure as a Professional Engineer in the State of California.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical engineering and project management post-graduation
Experience drafting/reviewing analysis, reports, and presentations
Effective leadership skills with the ability to positively interact with professionals, technical staff, and administrative staff
Outstanding professional reputation and a record of publications
Strong client base in similar market areas
A dedication to quality and accuracy
