About The Position

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Water & Wastewater candidate to join our Water & Wastewater Group located in our Raleigh, NC office location. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects and the development of assigned client accounts. This role involves marketing and client development, ensuring technical quality, managing profitability and schedules, coordinating project staff, client communications, negotiating scopes and fees, and assisting with billing and collections. The Project Manager must maintain superior client relationships, cross-sell Timmons Group services, and communicate ongoing with the Group Leader. An ability to manage several mid-sized projects and multiple small projects is expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with equivalent work experience
  • Professional registration (P.E.) in North Carolina, and/or one or more states in which Timmons Group conducts business
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering related to Water/Wastewater or Infrastructure markets
  • High energy, creative, flexible, patient, self-starter
  • Willing to work at a dynamic pace

  • Communicate effectively with client, staff and internal design team
