About The Position

Trihydro Corporation is seeking a civil project engineer to join its Fort Collins, CO office. The successful candidate will join our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit and assist in providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. In this role, you assist with developing project solutions and addressing infrastructure needs and improvements for water authorities, municipalities, and private clients.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant engineering design experience, such as designing civil infrastructure including water and/or wastewater systems, water storage tanks, stormwater drainage, rural and urban roads, and grading and site development projects.
  • Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Colorado or can obtain licensure within 6 months.

  • Interest and ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices nationwide.
  • Interest in maintaining existing client relationships, as well as developing new client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring project team members.
  • Managing projects and coordinating with clients.
  • Performing and reviewing design calculations.
  • Supervising figure preparation and preparing plan sets.
  • Preparing technical memorandums and reports.
  • Preparing and reviewing project specifications.
  • Developing cost estimates.
  • Preparing permit applications.
  • Construction administration.
  • Supporting business development activities.
