Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
  • Registered Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of Idaho.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform civil engineering design on a wide variety of projects.
  • Assist with project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and client coordination.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to help ensure projects remain aligned with scope, budget, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
  • Apply applicable regulations, policies, codes, and industry standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop practical, efficient, and high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Review engineering designs, calculations, plans, and technical documents for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, surveyors, etc.
