About The Position

The Civil Municipal Engineer designs, develops, and oversees municipal infrastructure projects. The role supports projects from planning and design through construction, including technical workstreams, scheduling, budgeting, delivery, and construction support. The engineer coordinates with municipal clients, public agencies, consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. The position is based in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and requires in-person work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• At least 3 years of civil or municipal engineering experience with hands-on municipal infrastructure design.
• Experience with roadway, drainage, utility, or similar public infrastructure projects and preparing plans, specifications, and calculations.
• Ability to work in person in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Revit, Bluebeam, Mathcad, engineering calculations, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and related public improvements.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation, and support permitting and regulatory submissions.
• Support projects from planning and design through construction, including technical workstreams, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
• Provide construction support by reviewing shop drawings, contractor questions, field conditions, RFIs, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with municipal clients, public agencies, consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities.
