About The Position

The Civil Municipal Engineer works on municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and other public-sector improvements. The role supports projects from planning and design through construction, with responsibility for hands-on engineering design and technical workstreams across multiple active projects. The engineer also provides construction support and coordinates with municipal clients, agencies, consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. The position is based in person at the Wayne, New Jersey office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• At least 3 years of civil or municipal engineering experience.
• Hands-on municipal infrastructure design experience.
• Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and calculations for roadway, drainage, utility, or similar public infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work in person in the Wayne, New Jersey office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Technical experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Revit, Bluebeam, Mathcad, engineering calculations, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and related public improvements.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation; support permitting and regulatory submissions.
• Support municipal projects from planning and design through construction, and manage technical workstreams across multiple active projects.
• Provide construction support, including shop drawing review, contractor questions, RFIs, field conditions, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with municipal clients, agencies, consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
