Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years in criminal prosecution with substantial experience in civilian warrant applications.
  • Strong judgment, organizational skills, and ability to manage matters with significant autonomy.
  • Ability to balance legal strategy with the client's broader business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal document drafting and case management.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
  • Strong courtroom presence and negotiation skills.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, contract disputes, property disputes, and professional liability.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations. Present compelling arguments, examine witnesses, and negotiate settlements.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations and provide strategic guidance to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Utilize your expertise in civilian warrant applications to provide insight and guidance on relevant matters.
  • Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive legal representation and client satisfaction.
  • Stay current with developments in civil litigation, criminal law, and warrant applications through ongoing professional development and training.
