Civil Litigation Attorney
About The Position
The San Diego, California office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Civil Litigation Practice. The practice includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and represents defendants in significant-exposure civil litigation, including property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals who may be insured or self-insured. The group focuses particularly on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation matters, and its partners and senior associates have broad trial experience. The firm welcomes attorneys with defense experience as well as developing attorneys with strong litigation skills in other areas. The role offers an opportunity to work in a growing, collaborative firm. Compensation ranges from $135,000 to $220,000 per year, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) with employer match.
Requirements
- Admission to the California Bar is required.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- At least 1 to 15 years of experience in all phases of defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery, as well as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Substantive litigation experience.
