About The Position

Civil/Industrial Construction Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Civil/Industrial Foreman to lead field crews on dirt and concrete projects within the civil and industrial construction sector. The Foreman will be responsible for coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to enforce company safety standards and construction best practices. The role involves leading, directing, and supervising field crews performing various civil and industrial tasks, optimizing resources, interpreting technical documents, maintaining discipline, collaborating with other teams, and enforcing safety policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (min 2 years) as a Foreman in civil/industrial construction, with strong knowledge of dirt and concrete work.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate crews while fostering teamwork and accountability.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to give clear instructions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and structures.
  • Work at above-grade and below-grade elevations.
  • Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Must adhere to and enforce all company and regulatory safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and correct unsafe conditions and practices.
  • Actively participate in safety audits and reporting.
  • All candidates must be able to pass a DISA pre-employment drug screen & alcohol test, physical and DISA background security check.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently lead, direct, and supervise field crews performing dirt work, concrete work, foundations, formwork, rebar installation, and related industrial civil tasks.
  • Coordinate daily activities to optimize resources, minimize downtime, and achieve production goals.
  • Read, interpret, and apply project specifications, drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Ensure crews are properly equipped with tools, equipment, and materials while preventing waste or misuse.
  • Maintain discipline and productivity on the jobsite by managing attendance, work practices, and performance.
  • Collaborate with other discipline foremen and supervisors to align resources and schedules for project success.
  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures; lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Actively participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) processes, audits, and toolbox talks.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and project management teams.
