About The Position
The Civil Foreman is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and demonstrating the use of heavy equipment while ensuring safety protocols are followed. This role involves overseeing crews, recommending promotions and terminations to the Trade Superintendent, and enforcing OSHA, MSHA, FRA, and DOT regulations for the site, subcontractor crews, and visitors. This is a travel-required position.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
- Ability to be located near current jobsite-travel position.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors and co-workers, etc. by effectively communicating with them, sharing clear expectations and holding them accountable for their actions.

Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain and demonstrate use of one or more pieces of heavy equipment while practicing safety
- Using Grade stakes, lasers and GPS
- Oversee crews, recommend promotions, recommend terminations to Trade Superintendent
- Enforce OSHA, MSHA, FRA and DOT regulations for the site, subcontractor crews and visitors
