About The Position

raSmith is hiring a student for a summer 2027 internship in the Construction Services Division at its downtown Appleton, Wisconsin office. The intern will gain practical engineering experience through on-the-job training on real projects, working with experienced project managers, engineers, and technicians. The position offers opportunities to strengthen problem-solving abilities and develop technical skills.

Requirements

• Completed the sophomore year of a four-year Bachelor of Science program in Civil Engineering at a U.S.-accredited college or university, with coursework in civil engineering.
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to solve basic engineering problems and make sound decisions.
• Ability to plan by accurately assessing the length and difficulty of tasks and projects.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team.
