About The Position

Egis is seeking a seasonal Civil Engineering Intern to join its Florida team. Under the direction of an experienced Project Manager, the intern will support roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering design; help prepare plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates; conduct site visits; maintain project documentation; and assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.

Requirements

Ability to graduate within 1–2 years from an accredited engineering college program with at least a BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in engineering.
Experience with CADD software.

Responsibilities

Perform roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering design under the direction of an experienced Project Manager.
Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Conduct site visits and perform other generally accepted responsibilities associated with the position.
Manage and maintain project documentation.
Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.
