About The Position

raSmith is hiring a student for a summer 2027 internship in its Construction Services Division at the downtown Appleton, Wisconsin office. The intern will gain practical engineering experience through on-the-job training on real projects, working with experienced project managers, engineers, and technicians. The role encourages interns to strengthen problem-solving abilities and develop technical skills.

Requirements

• Have completed the sophomore year of a four-year Bachelor of Science program in Civil Engineering at a U.S.-accredited college or university.
• Have completed coursework in civil engineering.
• Have exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office products.
• Be able to solve basic engineering problems and demonstrate good decision-making skills.
• Be skilled at planning by accurately scoping the length and difficulty of tasks and projects.
• Have excellent communication, detail-orientation, and interpersonal skills, and be a team player.
