Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Nashville, TN office. This role involves assisting engineers with the design and development of civil aviation infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing and revising engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other design software, performing basic engineering calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, runways, taxiways, or site development projects, and assisting with quantity takeoffs, material estimates, cost calculations, reviewing contractor submittments, and requests for information (RFI). The intern will also review survey data, maps, and project specifications, assist in preparing technical reports, permit applications, and construction documents, research applicable codes, regulations, and design standards, and participate in project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

Responsibilities
