About The Position
Delve Underground is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 for their Seattle office. This role will assist the technical design team with various office and field assignments, focusing on geotechnical or structural engineering analyses, development of drawings, specifications, research, calculations, project coordination, organizational tasks, and technical memoranda for heavy civil projects. Requirements
- Currently enrolled college student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar program.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or experience in structural or geotechnical engineering.
- AutoCAD experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Assist with the preparation of planning and design technical reports.
- Review and evaluate instrumentation and monitoring data.
- Assist with construction site inspections and daily reporting.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining contract drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in reviewing construction submittments and requests for information.
- Communicate effectively with other designer and construction management staff.
- Work on a variety of office and field assignments.
