About The Position
Stantec is hiring a Civil/Transportation Engineering Intern to support its roadway design group in its multidisciplinary Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office for Summer 2027. The intern will work alongside experienced practitioners and with clients and communities, gaining hands-on experience, practical skills, professional connections, and opportunities for growth. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to transportation design work in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Civil Engineering program.
- In good academic standing at an accredited engineering school.
- Some exposure to CAD design programs, such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Commitment to contributing to an organization where client service is a top priority.
Responsibilities
- Perform CAD drafting.
- Complete design calculations.
- Assist in developing engineer’s estimates.
- Perform other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support the transportation design group.
