About The Position

Stantec’s Mount Laurel team is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern/Co-op for Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027. The intern will assist engineers with contract documents and reports for civil engineering projects, including highways, interchanges, land development, and traffic. Work may include computer-aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspection. The role involves a typical office environment, with possible field work and exposure to weather.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program in Civil, Structural, or a similar engineering discipline.
• Current good academic standing at an accredited engineering school.
• Some exposure to CAD design programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing contract documents and reports for civil engineering projects.
• Perform computer-aided design and drafting.
• Check drawings and calculations.
• Complete quantity take-offs.
• Perform simple design calculations.
• Conduct field inspection.
