As a Civil Engineer at Kapur & Associates, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, as well as site design projects as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on transportation engineering coursework.
  • 1-4 years of experience with roadway or municipal design preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other relevant tools.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of WisDOT projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers in the planning and design of transportation or site design projects.
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for project analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transportation engineering.
