Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
EIT or Engineer-in-Training certification, or progress toward your PE
2+ years of civil engineering experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and standard engineering software
Strong knowledge of civil design principles, grading, drainage, and utilities
Clear written and verbal communication and solid attention to detail
Ability to work on-site at our Metairie, LA office

Responsibilities

Prepare civil site design plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts
Support public works and site development projects from concept through construction
Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports and specifications
Develop construction documents and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Coordinate with surveyors, structural engineers, clients, and permitting agencies
Conduct site visits and support construction-phase services as needed
Help ensure designs meet applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards
