About The Position
Perform civil engineering duties for various infrastructure projects, such as bridges and culverts within townships and counties, ensuring compliance with BLR and BDE standards. Create structural models in MDX software to design and rate steel girder bridges according to AASHTO specifications. Generate HEC-RAS models from surveying data to conduct hydraulic calculations on natural and man-made channels and floodplains. Use OpenRoads Designer to create structural drawings and prepare comprehensive plans and detailed documentation for Resurfacing (3P) projects in accordance with IDOT regulations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- U.S. permanent work authorization required.
