About The Position

Davey Resource Group is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to work on a variety of projects that turn concepts into built places. The role is suited to someone with 1–5 years of civil engineering experience who is eager to learn, contribute, and take on varied projects. The position is onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana, and involves travel of up to 25%.

Requirements

1–5 years of civil engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and keep them moving.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Dependable, collaborative, and able to work well with people.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
EIT certification.

Responsibilities

Develop and prepare civil engineering plans, details, layouts, and construction documents.
Work on projects involving site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
Turn concepts and sketches into practical, buildable designs.
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, environmental professionals, and other team members.
Communicate with clients, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
Assist with permitting, plan preparation, technical calculations, and project documentation.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering tools to develop and revise plans.
