About The Position

The Civil Engineer supports land development projects through site design, engineering analysis, and coordination with clients and reviewing agencies. The role works with project teams to deliver accurate and timely designs, with final approval by a licensed Professional Engineer. Entry-level candidates are welcome, and relevant experience in land development site and infrastructure design is valued.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant experience in land development site and infrastructure design.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, and permit applications under senior staff guidance.
• Design grading, drainage, and utility systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research zoning, permitting, and design requirements to support regulatory compliance.
• Review survey data and perform site visits to evaluate existing conditions.
• Update plans based on client and agency feedback.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and agencies to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain quality standards and communicate workload needs to project leadership.
