About The Position

Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Agriculture Team. In this role, you’ll assist in the design, permitting, and implementation of projects for agricultural businesses/facilities. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering (or related discipline).
A minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic design principles.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Enthusiasm for learning, problem-solving, and contributing to a positive team culture.
Valid Driver's License and Proof of Automobile Insurance.

Nice To Haves

Prior agricultural or environmental experience is a plus.
Experience or interest in HydroCAD or similar storm water modeling software.
Client-facing experience or the ability to build relationships that can lead to new business is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with design and planning for agricultural infrastructure, waste transfer/storage systems, and storm water solutions.
Prepare technical reports, plans, and permit applications for submission to regulatory agencies such as WDNR, ACOE, NRCS, DATCP and local authorities.
Support senior engineers with project management tasks, cost estimates, and construction oversight.
Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
Participate in business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and identifying potential project opportunities.
