Kimley-Horn's Savannah, Georgia (GA) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Surface Water team. This role supports a growing water resources practice and involves working with multi-disciplinary teams for a variety of existing and new public and private clients. The position offers the chance to work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including surface water management studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics, and green infrastructure planning and design. The engineer will prepare technical documents such as Hydraulic/Hydrology studies, drainage reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for water resources projects. Technical writing will include memorandums, feasibility studies, regulatory submittals (including CLOMR/LOMR submittals to FEMA), and master plans. Responsibilities also include assisting with developing scopes of work and associated budgets, watershed master planning, stormwater master planning, and CIP development report or planning level documents.
