Kimley-Horn's Mesa, AZ office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join their Surface Water team. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include supporting a growing water resources practice and working with multi-disciplinary teams for a variety of existing and new public and private clients. The role involves working in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including surface water management studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics, and green infrastructure planning and design. The engineer will prepare Hydraulic/Hydrology studies, drainage reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for water resources projects. Technical writing will be required in the form of memorandums, feasibility studies, regulatory submittals (including CLOMR/LOMR submittals to FEMA), and master plans. Responsibilities also include assisting with developing scopes of work and associated budgets, watershed master planning, stormwater master planning, report or planning level documents, and CIP development.
