Kimley-Horn's Alpharetta, Georgia (GA) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Surface Water team. This role supports a growing water resources practice and involves working with multi-disciplinary teams for a variety of public and private clients. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment on diverse projects including surface water management studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics, and green infrastructure planning and design. The engineer will be responsible for preparing technical documents such as Hydraulic/Hydrology studies, drainage reports, design documents, and plans/specifications. Additionally, the role involves technical writing for memorandums, feasibility studies, regulatory submittals (including CLOMR/LOMR to FEMA), and master plans. Responsibilities also include assisting with developing scopes of work and budgets, watershed and stormwater master planning, and CIP development.
