Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking a Design Manager to assist in our Combined Sewer Overflow Reduction Program (CSO Program) that will reduce overflows of sewage and polluted stormwater from entering Seattle waterways. The successful candidate will be expected to successfully manage a group of direct reports, many of whom will be managing technical aspects of options analysis, design, and construction phases. Additionally, the candidate will assist in project implementation and coordination of managing critical infrastructure capital improvement projects from design through closeout. This position is a leadership role in the CSO Program. The work of the CSO Program is focused on protecting public health and the environment; it is required by a federal Consent Decree. The team will be leading multiple, concurrent projects that will implement a range of solutions.
