About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in Construction Management to join their team. This role focuses on investigating construction incidents, analyzing site procedures, and providing expert testimony. You will work alongside experts to determine the root causes of incidents, applying your deep knowledge of construction management and site safety. Prior forensic experience is not required, as the company provides training based on their extensive experience in expert witness services. The position involves investigating incidents, analyzing construction site procedures using comprehensive knowledge of standards and practices, writing reports, and providing expert testimony. You will critically assess decision-making, operational procedures, and standards of care to understand the 'why' behind incidents and disputes.

Requirements

  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in construction management, including commercial projects.
  • Experience with quality control and safety issues on construction sites.
  • Thorough working knowledge of contracts, means & methods, scheduling, estimating, and subcontractor management.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.
  • A clean background screen.
  • A driver’s license and the ability to drive.
