About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced CAD Operator to join their Land Development team in Boca-Delray, Florida. This role involves designing and producing plan sets for various land development projects, implementing AutoCAD drafting standards, and developing technical drawings using CAD software. The position requires minimal supervision, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to perform complex calculations and quality checks. The individual will also maintain the drawing database, potentially supervise and train CAD staff, and coordinate work to meet schedules and quality standards. Familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards is also expected.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
6+ years of relevant experience
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products
Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
Ability to work independently and with a team

Associates degree preferred

Responsibilities
