Lynch & Associates is a growing multi-disciplinary consulting firm located in New Berlin and Burlington, Wisconsin with a family-focused culture. Our core business includes civil engineering, surveying, construction observation, and municipal services. We provide innovative solutions through technology, inspired design, and client-centric customer service. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Civil Designer I to join our team.

Requirements

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, design software, and surveying principles
8-10 years or more of relevant experience
Associates Degree in a related field of study
High School Diploma
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Responsibilities

Complete various civil engineering and/or surveying tasks assigned by a Project Engineer or Manager, and work under their direct supervision
Work with and seek guidance from experienced staff on assigned projects
Use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D to assist in the preparation of surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layout and staking
Design components of site civil, municipal, and transportation projects with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software
Prepare reports and permits for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects
Perform construction observation or field services as requested
Communicate with project teams in all offices
Limited responsibilities in directing staff on project specific tasks
Limited communication with clients, peers, and agencies on project specific tasks
Have the ability to provide overtime to meet project deadlines
Maintain insurability under the Lynch & Associates Automotive policy to operate a company or personal vehicle to conduct business
Assist in any other assigned tasks in support of the Lynch & Associates team
