About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Operator to join its Zero-Emission Vehicles team in Richardson, Texas. This is not a remote position. The role uses basic computer drafting software to produce site plans and construction drawings for company projects. The technician designs and produces plan sets, applies and manages AutoCAD drafting and plan-preparation standards, helps maintain the drawing database, and performs routine analysis to verify data accuracy. The role also involves developing familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, and self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication and writing skills, and desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred.

Responsibilities
