About The Position

Orders Construction Company is seeking a motivated and dependable Civil Construction Intern. The role provides hands-on experience in civil construction, including field operations, project management, safety procedures, and construction practices. The intern will support project managers, superintendents, and field personnel while learning about construction activities and project operations. The position involves both office and outdoor construction environments and is intended for someone interested in pursuing a career in civil construction.

Requirements

Have a strong willingness to learn and develop construction industry skills.
Have good communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Be able to work in both office and outdoor construction environments.
Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related program.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assist project managers, superintendents, and field personnel with daily construction activities.
Gain practical experience in site preparation, excavation, grading, concrete work, and utility construction.
Assist with project documentation, daily reports, and material tracking.
Observe and participate in jobsite safety practices and procedures.
Learn to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Support project scheduling, estimating, and quality control activities.
Perform other duties as assigned to support project operations.
