About The Position

Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Civil Concrete Finishers to join our team in Sherman, Texas. This role is responsible for performing concrete finishing work on various civil construction projects, ensuring high-quality and durable results.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in concrete finishing.
Proficiency in using various concrete finishing tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of concrete properties, curing processes, and quality standards.
Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is a plus.
Valid driver's license preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare concrete forms and surfaces for pouring.
Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, and power screeds.
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools, including floats, trowels, and edgers.
Apply curing compounds and sealants to concrete surfaces.
Cut, grind, and score concrete.
Inspect finished concrete for defects and make necessary repairs.
Operate and maintain a variety of concrete finishing equipment and tools.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with supervisors and co-workers.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
