About The Position

Under direction of the Box Office Manager, this position conducts ticket sales at the Box Office window and over the phone using a computerized ticketing system. Provides superior customer service, answers patron questions with clear and correct information, and handles ticketing transactions utilizing a computerized ticketing system. This role involves handling cash, check, and credit card transactions with a high degree of accuracy, working in a fast-paced environment as business levels fluctuate, accurately reconciling cash drawers, and completing end-of-day reports.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Basic understanding of computers and willingness to learn new computer skills.
  • Ability to clearly speak and understand English.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of effective customer service practices.
  • Must maintain high level of personal hygiene at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Six (6) months cashier and/or customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
