About The Position

This position involves city deliveries within Langley City, handling both container and van/reefer loads. The schedule runs from Thursday to Monday, with departure times between 1100 and 1300. Start times and shift lengths will vary based on operational demands. Some driver loading and unloading of freight may be required, involving hand-bombing and the ability to lift 75 lbs or more. Hours and days of work may change, and additional work may be available upon request.

Requirements

• Owner-Operator with 24 months of tractor trailer experience.
• Valid Class 1/AZ License.
• Experience with reefer trailers and containers.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
• Tractor must have a working DEF system.
• Ability to lift 75 lb. or more.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Values safety.
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform city deliveries in Langley City (Container and Van/Reefer).
• Operate a tractor trailer with a working DEF system.
• Perform driver loading and unloading of freight, including hand-bombing.
• Haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
• Adapt to varying start times and shift lengths.
• Work weekends.
• Be available for additional work upon request.
